Welcome to the recreational delights of the Northern Neck. Bicycle through this splendid land on one of the bike tour routes. Take a ride on one of the remaining free car ferries in Virginia. Stop by and visit the Westmoreland Berry Farm and Orchard, noted for great fruit, ice cream, and the infamous "goat walk". Enjoy a round of golf at one of the many golf courses in the area. Ride horseback through the bridle trails at Belle Isle State Park.

BIKING

Bicycle Heritage Tour of the Northern Neck. These tours highlight the rich history of the region. The four tours listed in the brochure are relatively easy bicycle trails. FERRIES

Sunnybank Ferry. Operates Monday-Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weather permitting. This is a two car ferry on Route 644 that crosses the Little Wicomico River near Reedville.

Merry Point Ferry. Operates Monday-Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weather permitting. A two car ferry on Route 604 that crosses the western branch of the Corrotoman River in Lancaster County.
